Scandinavian Art

Philips has a particular interest in European art, noteably early/mid 20th century Scandinavian figurative painting. We have an ever-changing stock of paintings by artists rarely heard of in the UK who, nevertheless, distinguished themselves during their lifetimes. Some, for example, represented Denmark at the Venice Biennale in the years when the British Pavilion hosted such luminaries as Nash, Moore, Paolozzi and Sutherland.
